iPhone Art

This was drawn on my iPhone using the "Notes" app that comes with the phone. It's a simple drawing program.

The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not be in want. He makes me lie down in green pastures, He leads me beside quiet waters.
I did this on Independence Day. But I call this one "Dependence."

This was my first try using my finger on my iPhone 7. Much harder than it looks.

I love walking paths as you will see in some of my oil paintings if you continue on.

Moonstone beach, Cambria, Ca

I put one set of footprints in the sand. As we walk side-by-side with Jesus there are sometimes difficult circumstances in our lives. It’s during these times we notice only one set of footprints in the sand. Jesus would then say to us, “These were the times I carried you.” I have found that to be very true through the course of my walk with Jesus.  18x36. Oil on canvas.  $1,500.

Mail Pouch barn...San Luis Obispo, CA... My home town. Bishop's Peak in background. This was my second painting after a 26 year layoff. Completed in 2017.    SOLD
Pastel. A lady came to my house and bought this piece. 43 years later I received this photo of the drawing from her granddaughter. She wanted to know about this artwork she inherited from her grandmother.  SOLD

I painted this in 2017. It's the view walking down San Luis Mountain looking across to Bishops Peak. Los Osos valley runs along the left where the sun is setting.   GIFT

My friend. The kids in his Sunday School class called him Big Will.       GIFT
Mary saw her son Jesus beaten, flogged and crucified. He was guilty of no crime. He willingly did it for you. He bore God's wrath that we rightly deserved. He paid our penalty for sin....... DEATH.         $2,500.00

One day I was showing my Jesus paintings in the park. A little boy was looking at this one for several minutes. I decided to ask him what he thought. He asked me if the people heading for the fire could change their minds and go back to the road that leads to heaven. I said they sure can.      NOT FOR SALE

My one and only self portrait. Maybe 30 ish with nice hair.... huh? I'm actually looking at the child below. Understanding his plight of not being allowed to play with the older guys. One day that number 33 would become 88.  NOT FOR SALE
This was another school project that told a story. This little boy was rejected and dejected... Not good enough or old enough to play ball.  But one day Jesus would reveal Himself to him. His number would then be 88.   NFS

This was a college project. We had to tell a thousand word story. I bet you can get the gist of the story here. It's true.  $2,500.00

These next two are tiny 3x5 inch oils on canvas. I painted these in the mid 1970's for my wife's parents. We inherited them back after they both had gone home to heaven.  NOT FOR SALE

                                                                    NOT FOR SALE

A portrait of my son Dan at age 5. I've completed many portraits in my younger days. NFS

For God so loved the world (you) that He gave His only son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life (John 3:16). I painted this for a friend. 30 years later the Lord asked them to return it. It has hung in my office for many years. I recently sold it for several thousand dollars. All the proceeds went to missions.  SOLD

The next two are oils on masonite board 11x14. I really like painting on masonite board. I love these early morning walking paths.  SOLD

                                                                                 SOLD
This was my first painting after the 26 year layoff. I wanted to see if I could still work that paint brush. This is Morro Rock in Morro Bay, Ca. We have been coming to this rock for 60 years now. Never get tired of this place.   SOLD

One of my first 4 paintings after the layoff. I love the California hills and vineyards.... and cows. GIFT
These are the last two paintings I have complete to this date... July 3, 2018. This is an 8x10 oil on masonite board. There's fish in that river. My friend Jeff told me I needed an animal in this one. I painted on in. Can you see it? $600.00
My friend Jeff also to me I needed an animal in this one. So I put an alligator in it. See it? This is a tough one to see,  but it's there.  $750.00
